Is the effect of Botox for hyperhidrosis reliable?▾
We use 100u dosage, and you can notice a significant reduction in sweat secretion within several days after the treatment. The effects last 6-12 months, and it is most effective for axillary hyperhidrosis, with application also possible on palms and soles.
Is there pain during Botox treatment for hyperhidrosis?▾
For the underarms, we minimize discomfort using a cooling spray. For palms and soles, the skin is thicker with more nerves, so there may be relatively more discomfort.
Will I stop sweating completely after Botox for hyperhidrosis?▾
It does not completely block body functions but controls excessive secretion. Normal body temperature regulation is maintained, with only excessive sweat secretion suppressed.
What precautions should I take on the day of Botox treatment for hyperhidrosis?▾
Please avoid strenuous exercise and saunas on the treatment day. For 24 hours after treatment, it is recommended to refrain from activities that raise body temperature. For underarm treatment, please avoid hair removal or depilatory creams on the same day.
